For me Las Vegas is a place to visit maybe once or twice, but not visiting at all is un-American. Or rather shocking, especially if it’s only a three-hour drive from your hometown. Nonetheless, the glamour and party lifestyle is something that catches the eyes of many. 

Here are some random facts about Sin City. 
1. Do you remember the end of Con Air? With Nicholas Cage, John Cusack and John Malcovich in Las Vegas? Maybe, maybe not but you should at least know that Nicholas Cage has appeared in the most amount of films made in Las Vegas than any other actor and than any other city. 

2. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. It’s known for exporting broke gamblers from all over the world and newlyweds that were most likely married drunk in a random chapel. But in reality, you first have to obtain a marriage license from the courthouse before getting married in a chapel. 

3. Each hotel has a theme. 

4.  People who live in Las Vegas are called Las Vegans. But I don’t think they are vegan. Pun intended? 

5. According to Movato, the strip is the brightest place on Earth when looked at from outer space.
