California Coast: Point Dume

Point Dume in Malibu, California is one of the best places for  panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Point Dume not only opens up an incredible up-close experience to the waves, the upper headland area lends an extraordinary view of the northwestern point.

Point Dume, is a good area for hikers looking for views and for novice rock climbers. It is also one of the spots along the coast that you can spot gray whales during the months of December and April.

This is the kind of place that proves why California’s coast is one to brag about.
